Get to know me…
Owner and Photographer
Hi, I’m Nicole.
I’m a Connecticut-based photographer with over a decade of experience photographing landscapes, animals and people. My work is rooted in curiosity, patience, and a deep appreciation for fleeting moments—the kind that feel ordinary until you realize how rare they are.
Though my work is versatile in nature, I am dog-focused by passion. Every dog has a story, and my goal is to capture it honestly and beautifully. I photograph dogs the way they deserve to be seen, creating natural moments that tell their story. I work to create a calm, comfortable environment that allows your dog’s personality to lead the session and shine through in the photographs.
My background in veterinary medicine gives me a unique perspective on canine behavior and comfort, helping even shy or sensitive dogs feel at ease while we preserve moments that honor them, both now and beyond.
A Few Fun Facts About Me…
I have 3 dogs, 5 cats, and 1 ferret who keep me company at home. Once an animal person, always an animal person.
I have worked in the veterinary field for the last 13 years, so I am incredibly experienced with animal behavior.
I share my life with my beautiful wife, Linsey, who often finds herself working as my “unofficial” assistant.
I draw inspiration from travel and long days spent hiking and exploring—experiences that naturally find their way into my photographs.
When I’m off the clock, you’ll likely find me at either the CrossFit or rock climbing gym. It’s hard for me to sit still.
Outside of photography, I also paint pet portraits. This practice deepens my appreciation for detail and expression and strongly influences the way I photograph animals.
